Our application

DSS Ads
Operations.

An internal DSS application being developed for Google Ads reporting, analysis and authorized campaign management.

Updated 13 September 2026

What the application is for

DSS Ads Operations is the name of our internal Google Ads integration. Its purpose is to bring account reporting, analysis and campaign implementation into one controlled workflow for Digital Strategy Solutions. It is intended for DSS operators and their authorized software assistants working on advertising accounts covered by an engagement.

The application supports a practical service: understand account performance, prepare useful changes, carry out authorized work and check what happened. It is not a public account marketplace or a service that gives unrelated third parties access to our Google Ads credentials.

Current status

The direct Google Ads API application is in development. Runtime authentication and account permissions are not yet connected, and direct campaign execution is not active. DSS already uses separate reporting tools for authorized analysis. This page identifies intended application functions; it does not represent every function as available today.

The functions we are building

01

Reporting and analysis

Retrieve agreed account and campaign reports; compare spend, traffic and reported conversions; examine relevant search-term or placement reports; and prepare clear findings with their date ranges and limitations.

02

Planning and preparation

Organize campaign structures, keywords, advertisements and measurement plans. Prepare proposed settings and implementation instructions using the objectives, account scope and spending limits agreed for the work.

03

Authorized implementation

When the execution service is ready and account access and instructions are in place, create or edit covered campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, keywords, targeting, bids, budgets and measurement settings. A description on this website does not activate any of those changes.

04

Verification and reporting back

Check accepted changes against their intended result, reconcile errors or incomplete outcomes, and preserve relevant operational records. Performance reporting remains separate from proof that a particular change caused an outcome.

Why Google Ads data is needed

Account and campaign identifiers tell the application which resources an instruction covers. Configuration data shows what is currently running. Performance data provides the evidence for reporting and analysis. Change information helps verify implementation and understand the account history.

Depending on the authorized task, relevant data may include account names and settings; campaign, advertisement and keyword details; targeting; bids and budgets; impressions, clicks and spend; conversion definitions and reported results; search terms, placements and change history. Access to a field does not mean it is collected for every task.

We do not need Gmail messages, Drive documents or a person's wider Google account activity for the Ads application's described functions. The current integration does not include customer-list uploads or individual customer matching. Those would require separate assessment, appropriate authority and disclosures before introduction.

The privacy policy explains the data categories, and data handling explains where information can be processed.

Who uses it and how access is arranged

The application is intended for DSS operators carrying out an agreed service. There is no public signup, customer login or Google authorization button on this website. Reading these pages does not connect an advertising account or give DSS permission to operate one.

Account access must be granted through the appropriate Google Ads user, service-account or manager-account arrangement by a person with authority over that account. The intended API design separates reporting access from campaign execution. The effective permissions must be checked before either is used.

Access and business instructions are separate. Even where an account role technically permits a change, the work must remain within the agreed account scope, objective, budget and operating limits. Ordinary work within those instructions can be delegated to software and AI assistants; a new business decision or expansion of authority requires the responsible decision-maker.

Availability and next steps

Existing reporting is initiated for a defined task and uses a read-only reporting bridge or an approved export. The direct API connection is a separate development workstream. Recurring account jobs and continuous data ingestion are not currently enabled.

Before direct execution becomes available, the connection, account permissions, operating limits, records and failure handling need to be implemented and verified. Any engagement using additional processing must have the applicable data-use information and authorization in place.

DSS is an independent service provider. Google Ads is a Google service. This website does not claim Google endorsement, Google Partner status or completed approval of this application.
